- Bridge type setting supports with sizes up to 600x600m. Forgestal was the introducer of the special design which combines a high air passage which a high mechanical strength.
- Hollow bridge type setting supports designed for green-setting applications (e.g. stiff extrusion) and other special applications
- Deck slabs designed to be lighter but with the same strength, making the heating and cooling easier. Furthermore allow the fibre overlapping.
- Continous ceramic fiber layer underneath the deck slabs, with overlapped blankets, to avoid the penetration of chippings and dust deep into the lining.
- First class insulating materials are selected, with thermal conductivity calculated case by case.
- Optimized distribution of the refractory and insulating materials in order to minimize the heat absorption of the lining, keeping at the same time the solidness of the lining. An specific software designed by Forgestal, allows to calculate the heat absorption in all time during the firing cycle and therefore making possible the best design for each application.
- Specific lining designs for a wide range of applications such as: dry setting, green setting, H-cassettes, U-cassettes, under-deck firing, etc
- Wide range of blends studied for each application. It is remarkable the blends developed for high thermal shock applications or when a chemical attack is present (because of the ware or the fuel)
